SAO’s Legend is a free-to-play browser-based MMO based on the popular anime Sword Art Online. Developed by Raycreator Inc. and published by GameSprite, the game offers players a variety of adventures in the world of Aincrad. The game features four traditional classes: Ranger, Priest, Knight and Swordsman. Leveling mechanics include upgrading equipment through various methods such as polishing and fortifying. There are 12 types of gear that players will use to improve their character, ranging from the helmet to the weapon. In addition to polishing and fortifying, players can also use gemstones to upgrade this gear. For the collectors among us, SAO’s Legend offers a variety of mounts to collect and travel the world on. In addition to collecting mounts, players can also collect girlfriends — similar to Kirito in the anime. There are currently 11 girlfriends to collect — all of which are useful and can help you in battle. Also following in the path of the anime is the implementation of a wing system which unlocks when players finish the Level 25 main quest. These wings can be upgraded and modified. Being an MMO, the game does offer a lot of social features including guilds, chat, and more.
