GunZ 2: The Second Duel is the free-to-play fast-paced Third Person Shooter (TPS) follow up to the successful GunZ: The Duel. Released in 2013/2014 by MAIET Entertainment, the property is now owned by MattietSoft and is run mostly through player hosted servers. GunZ 2 features 6 classes for players to choose from. Each class offers its own unique skills and abilities so players are free to take on the role of more defense based characters or run and gun type heroes based on personal preference. Movement in game is augmented through the addition of dashing, wall running, and various gymnastic tumbling moves. These moves add a layer of mobility not found in most other third person shooters and allows melee combat to play a larger role in the game. There are currently 5 game modes available and 6 maps available for play. Modes range from typical death matches to objective based gameplay. GunZ 2 also offers a PvE mode where players can band together in small groups and play through story missions in an attempt to take down the Adam Corporation.
